2nd International Law Congress of Turkic States

About the congress

The 2nd International Law Congress of Turkic States takes place in Nicosia, in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, on 3–4 November 2026. Its theme is "The Common Language of Law, the Common Future of the Turkic World" (informal translation; no official English title has been announced). According to the congress poster, the venue is the Concorde Tower Hotel; the hall and the daily programme have not been announced yet.

The congress is organised by Dosthealth Tedavi ve Turizm Ltd., with contributions from the Cyprus Turkish Bar Association, the Universal Patient Rights Association and the Institute of Medical Law. It was announced on the website of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations.

The congress is open to lawyers as well as academics, physicians, economists, business representatives, public and private sector professionals and experts from other disciplines. Lawyers and academics from Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and other parts of the Turkic world are expected to present papers; the poster also shows the flags of Northern Cyprus, Uzbekistan and Hungary. The main language of the congress is Turkish, and the papers are planned to be published as a book.

The first congress in the series was held in Istanbul in 2025. The organisers aim to hold it in a different Turkic state each year.

Getting to Nicosia and where to stay

Visitors flying to North Cyprus arrive at Ercan Airport. The road distance from the airport to our apartment buildings is 26–32 km, about half an hour by car depending on traffic.
